Classes in the first year take place either in person or on Zoom, at various locations around the country, so you can choose the option that works best for you, based on where you live and your weekly schedule.
For women across Israel and abroad, there is also an online study group (Zoom).
In the second and third year, classes are held in person in Jerusalem, with the option to join remotely online.
In the core courses, the specialization tracks, and the different learning units, you’ll meet the top lecturers and consultants in the field.
All of them are highly experienced professionals in the world of guidance and counseling, with many years of hands-on experience using the Shefer approach.
As senior facilitators at the Shefer Center, they bring deep knowledge and practical tools that will empower you to step confidently into your professional path.
A parent wants what’s best for their child — and the Shefer approach starts with the understanding that, as parents, your intention is always rooted in wanting your child’s well-being.
Understanding the child – The Shefer method offers a unique and practical way to understand how your child’s inner world works:
What drives their behavior?
What makes them react emotionally?
And what can I, as a parent, do differently to allow real change to happen?
Letting go of guilt – The Shefer approach releases parents from guilt, brings back confidence, and frees them emotionally.
It teaches us to look at our children’s and students’ behavior from a different lens — an emotional, developmental, and conscious one, not through judgment.
Breaking through relationship patterns – This approach is based on a deep understanding that I cannot and should not “change” the other person — only myself.
When the change happens in my inner stance, I can transform my relationships for the better in a meaningful, sustainable way.
A powerful shift in perspective – The Shefer approach offers practical, unique tools that support real change and growth, empowering each person to tap into their potential.
Deep, practical learning – The program prepares you for real work in the field through solid, hands-on training that builds confidence and gives you all the essential professional tools.
Professional guidance and support – Even after you begin working as a coach, you’ll continue to receive mentorship, guidance, and professional supervision that will help you grow, succeed, and make a meaningful impact.
Gishat Shefer offers people, partners and parents a way to change. That’s right – you’re never stuck. At Shefer, you’ll learn practical tools that work organically with our comprehensive theory of interpersonal and family dynamics, based on the principles of Adlerian psychology.
